The district
Welcome to Suite Latina! The Latin Quarter is Treviso’s most elegant and exclusive neighbourhood, home to the university. Designed by Paolo Portoghesi and completed in 2005 on the site of the former S. Maria dei Battuti hospital, with medieval remains from the 1300s.
A lively quarter with shops, galleries, trendy spots, cafés, trattorias and a pharmacy. It regularly hosts art and music events, concerts, dances and Christmas festivities.

The heart of the city: Palazzo del Podestà, the Civic Tower, Palazzo dei Trecento, Monte di Pietà and the Fontana delle Tette. Try the tiramisù at Pino; in Piazza Indipendenza, «Dai Naneti» is a historic osteria for cured meats, cheese and good wine.
A 13th-century monument, unique in Europe, with splendid frescoes. Once the meeting place of the knights, today it hosts open-air cultural events.
The shopping street, lined with elegant shops and frescoed palaces. Try the gelato at Dassiè and the mozzarella in carrozza at «Gigia».
A cathedral holding works by Titian and Pordenone, with a Romanesque baptistery open to visitors. On Piazza Duomo: the Benetton headquarters and Gallerie delle Prigioni, a contemporary art space.
