What we process and why

• What you send us When you contact us through the form, by email, phone or WhatsApp, we receive what you choose to share: name, email or phone number, stay dates and message. We use it only to reply and arrange a possible stay, as pre-contractual steps you asked for (GDPR art. 6.1.b). Requests sent with the form go through our server and reach us by email via Brevo.
• Browsing data To work, the hosting service logs technical data such as IP address, browser, requested page and time. It is needed to serve the site and protect it from abuse, on the basis of our legitimate interest (GDPR art. 6.1.f), and is never used to identify or profile you.
• Events in town The events list is loaded from our database while you view the page: your browser connects to the database provider, which receives the IP address needed for the connection.
• Your stay Data required by law for a stay, such as guest registration with the police and the tourist tax, does not go through this site: we collect it at check-in.

How long we keep it

We keep requests for as long as needed to handle them, and no longer than 24 months after the last contact. If a stay follows, the data is kept for the periods required by tax and legal obligations. Browsing data stays with the hosting provider only as long as needed for the security of the service.

Who processes data on our behalf

We rely on a few providers, who process data only to deliver their service:

• Netlify, Inc. (United States): website hosting.
• Supabase, Inc. (United States): events database and the server that receives the contact form.
• Brevo SAS (France, data in the European Union): delivers contact form requests by email.
• Google (Gmail): the mailbox that receives requests.

Providers based outside the European Union ensure adequate protection through the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission. If you write to us on WhatsApp, the message goes through Meta’s service under its own terms. We never sell or pass on your data.

Cookies

This site sets no profiling, statistics or third-party cookies and shows no advertising, which is why it asks for no consent when you open it. Fonts are hosted on our own site, with no requests to outside services. The management area, used only by the owner, keeps a technical sign-in token in the browser.

Links to Facebook and WhatsApp lead to external sites, which apply their own privacy notices.

Your rights

You can ask at any time to access, correct or delete your data, restrict its processing, receive it in a portable format, or object to its processing (GDPR arts. 15-22), by writing to suitelatina@gmail.com .

If you believe the processing breaks the law, you can lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali): www.garanteprivacy.it .

Providing your data

Providing data is optional, but without a way to reach you we cannot reply.

Changes

If the way we process data changes, for example when a new service is added, we will update this page and the date at the top.
